Combat veteran Dave Eckerson and his K9 Kane visit with Kevyn Major Howard Rafterman on how they are saving lives one dog at a time. David Eckerson is the president/board member of the Joint Task Force. K9s is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization.
David Eckerson enlisted in the United States Marine Corps on 30 January 1984; he attended Recruit Training on 05 March 1984 and graduated on 25 May 1984. He went on to Serve in all three Active Marine Expeditionary Forces (MEFs I, II, and III) in five Continents. He served on Active Duty for twenty-three Years. David retired from Active Duty on 30 June 2007.
